Suranne Jones leads the cast as Abigail Dalton, the sitting British Prime Minister, whose life is thrown into disarray when her husband is kidnapped on the eve of a pivotal international summit. What follows is a collision of national duty and private desperation as Dalton is forced to choose between the personal and the political, while the world watches every move.
Julie Delpy co-stars as French President Vivienne Toussaint, whose own vulnerabilities are exploited in a simultaneous blackmail attempt. The two leaders, driven by conflicting agendas and mounting pressure, find themselves reluctantly aligned in a global game of brinkmanship. The backdrop is international diplomacy, but the core of the story is devastatingly personal.
