Apple TV+ have unveiled the first trailer for their follow up to 2021’s Invasion. Season 2 will continue its focus on groups of characters from different parts of the world, as they experience a devastating alien invasion of our planet.
The trailer shows that the world has quickly succumb to the superior race, Earth is becoming a wasteland, as the invaders turn to all out war.
The trailer begins with Kutsuna giving a description of the devastation humanity has suffered and what they have gone through since the invasion. But humans start to stand back up and prepare to fight their invaders. We see exciting human versus alien action shots as the battle heats up, as humans try to take down their ships.
In an official statement, series co-creator Simon Kinberg shared his excitement for the new series teasing a much larger scale of destruction saying.
“I couldn’t be more excited about the return of Invasion on Apple TV+. It’s a bigger, more intense season that drops our viewers into a wide-scale, global battle from the start. At its core, the show is about the power of the human spirit and the emotional connections that hold us together especially when facing incredible obstacles.”
