A new video game adaptation has been teased by Jason Blum on Twitter. He posted a teaser for the upcoming Five Nights at Freddy’s. The film is based on the popular indie video game of the same name created by Scott Cawthon and released in 2014. The film will star Matthew Lillard & Josh Hutcherson, it’s directed by Emma Tammi.
In the teaser Josh Hutcherson plays Mike Schmidt the new night security guard at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. Strange events happen at the restaurant as he discoverers the animatronics coming to life.
Matthew Lillard will play William Afton the restaurant creator, who in the game is a killer who murdered his friends daughter.

The film is due to hit cinemas and Peacock on October 27.
