John Krasinski is strapping back in for another mission—only this time, it’s not for your next binge session. The former CIA analyst-turned-field operative is leaping off the small screen and into a full-fledged movie, and fans just got their first glimpse at what’s in store. Amazon has released new behind-the-scenes photos from the upcoming Jack Ryan film, showing Krasinski’s titular agent back in action, along with some familiar allies and plenty of cryptic locations.
The images, though careful not to reveal plot details, hint at the global scale of the film. A courtroom, an open field, and a helicopter ride with Mike November (Michael Kelly) all suggest that Jack Ryan’s next outing will be just as international and intense as anything we’ve seen in the series. Kelly’s return as November and the reappearance of Wendell Pierce as CIA veteran James Greer should be a welcome sight for longtime viewers.

Directing duties go to Jack Ryan alum Andrew Bernstein, who handled several episodes of Season 2. With credits on Ozark, Foundation, and The Diplomat, Bernstein brings an experienced hand to what promises to be a high-octane cinematic upgrade. The script comes from Aaron Rabin, who helped close out the show’s fourth season and seems well-poised to steer the franchise into feature territory.
Joining the cast is Sienna Miller, reportedly playing a British intelligence agent working alongside Ryan. While details about her character remain under wraps, her involvement points toward an international alliance and likely, fresh geopolitical trouble.

The transition from series to standalone movie is a major swing for Prime Video, but not a surprising one. Jack Ryan consistently ranked among the streamer’s top global hits, with over a billion minutes watched in its final season alone. That kind of momentum—and loyal fan base—makes this move feel like a no-brainer.
No release date has been announced, but production is well underway. Until then, fans can revisit all four seasons of Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan on Prime Video. The next chapter may be bigger, but it looks like Jack Ryan is still very much in control.
