The underground world of Silo is ready to dive even deeper. Apple TV+ has confirmed that production has officially wrapped on the third season of its hit sci-fi drama, teasing more twists, revelations, and a return to the dystopian chaos that gripped us from the start.
While we’re still unpacking the jaw-dropping events of season two, the show is already looking ahead. Season three will continue adapting Hugh Howey’s bestselling Silo trilogy, and based on the books — and that explosive finale — we’re in for major upheaval. As of now, there’s no confirmed release date, but don’t expect it too soon. With seasons three and four being shot back-to-back, we may be waiting until 2026 for the next chapter.

Rebecca Ferguson is confirmed to return as Juliette, whose fate was left uncertain after a fiery standoff in the season two finale. The final moments showed her and Bernard (Tim Robbins) trapped in an airlock, raising more questions than answers. Juliette’s cryptic line that she had “figured something out” leaves fans guessing — what did she discover, and how will it change the silo forever?
Season three won’t just revisit the present storyline, it looks to be heading back in time. The finale introduced us to a pair of new characters in a flashback sequence: a rising politician named Daniel (played by Ashley Zuckerman) and journalist Helen (Jessica Henwick). As confirmed by creator Graham Yost via The Hollywood Reporter, Daniel is a reimagined version of Donald Keene from Howey’s books — the man who inadvertently helps design the silo system. Both actors will now be series regulars, indicating a major focus on the silos’ origins.

The expanded timeline offers new layers and if the series sticks close to its source material, season three could uncover the why and how of this buried society — and potentially, the forces still controlling it from the shadows.
Looking further ahead, Apple TV+ has already confirmed season four will be the final installment. “With the final two chapters of Silo, we can’t wait to give fans of the show an incredibly satisfying conclusion to the many mysteries and unanswered questions contained within the walls of these silos,” said Yost confirmed via Apple.
Until then, fans can catch up with seasons one and two, now streaming on Apple TV+. But make no mistake — the story is only just heating up.
