Dwayne Johnson and Chris Evans join forces in Red One to save Christmas, an action-packed adventure from Amazon MGM Studios. This high-budget holiday film is coming to theaters this Christmas and stars Johnson, Evans, Lucy Liu, and J.K. Simmons.
Directed by Jake Kasdan, Red One reunites the filmmaker with Dwayne Johnson, following their successful collaboration on the hit Jumanji series.

Johnson stars as Callum Drift, the Head of Security at the North Pole. When Santa Claus (played by a surprisingly ripped Simmons) is kidnapped, Drift enlists the help of notorious bounty hunter Jack O’Malley (Evans), who happens to be on the naughty list. The trailer features an aggressive polar bear, Krampus engaging in an intense game of Power Slap, snowman assassins and Santa bench-pressing.
The official synopsis reads: After Santa Claus (Simmons) – Code Name: ‘Red One’ – is kidnapped, the North Pole’s Head of Security (Johnson) must team up with the world’s most infamous bounty hunter (Evans) in a globe-trotting, action-packed mission to save Christmas.

In the trailer, Johnson shoots a laser at a Hot Wheels car from a toy store to turn it into a full-sized Chevy Corvette. With Evans then returning to ask “You don’t have a Wonder Woman action figure, do you?” As Johnson shouts “It’s not how it works, come on!”
Hiram Garcia conceived the original story, with Jake Kasdan (Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle) directing and Chris Morgan (Hobbs and Shaw) penning the screenplay.
Red One is set to hit theaters on November 15.
