With just over a month to go before Superman lands in theaters on July 11, 2025, Warner Bros. has dropped a set of bold character posters that shine a spotlight on the metahuman lineup at the heart of James Gunn’s DC reboot. Leading the charge is David Corenswet’s Superman, flanked by scene-stealers like Krypto the Superdog, the sharp-minded Mister Terrific, a fierce-looking Hawkgirl, and a bold, no-nonsense Guy Gardner.
This new iteration of Superman marks the cinematic debut of DC Studios under the stewardship of Gunn and producer Peter Safran. It’s a clean slate and the tone is unmistakably theirs. Colorful. Cosmic. Unapologetically hopeful. The visual rollout echoes that ethos, giving fans their first official look at a team that feels ripped straight from comic panels, albeit through Gunn’s idiosyncratic lens.

Among the most buzzed-about cast members is Isabela Merced, who plays Hawkgirl. The rising star shared her emotional casting moment: “On the last day of auditions, I had already taken my makeup off and was about to leave when someone pulled me into a trailer and said, ‘You got the role. You’re going to be Hawkgirl.’ I didn’t know what to do. I was speechless,” she told Entertainment Weekly.
The posters don’t just introduce characters, they signal a tonal shift. This isn’t the brooding, shadow-soaked Superman of past eras. Gunn’s vision is brighter, stranger, and unapologetically comic-book in spirit. From armored suits to alien tech, every detail suggests a DC Universe ready to embrace the comics—and run with it.

From Alan Tudyk voicing the curious Superman Robot #4 to the ever-reliable Krypto by Superman’s side, the film appears to embrace its sci-fi side. It’s not just capes and powers, it’s exploding with personality.
Superman lands in theaters on July 11. Check the remaining posters below.
