With the 2023 Formula 1 season wrapped up, it’s that time of year when we get to reflect on the highs and lows of the season in Netflix’s behind-the-scenes documentary, Formula 1: Drive to Survive.
The season will follow the 10 teams and 20 drivers across the globe during the 2023 season. For the first time, we will witness the introduction of the Las Vegas Grand Prix, a street circuit that traverses down the iconic strip.
Season 6 may unfortunately mark the last appearance of fan favorite Guenther Steiner in the show. The charismatic team principal has been ousted by Haas, and as it stands, he will not be on the grid for the 2024 season. And with the ongoing accusations against Red Bull team principal Christian Horner, it may well be his last appearance too.
What we will see, though, are the highs and lows of what was a dominant season for the Red Bull team, particularly their lead driver Max Verstappen. He is set to feature after previously refusing to appear in protest over the various narratives the series produces. Additionally, we’ll witness the intense battles with top teams such as Ferrari and Mercedes, including the seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton, as they take on the Red Bulls.
It won’t be long until we get to relive the 2023 season—all 10 episodes of Netflix’s Formula 1: Drive to Survive will be available to stream on Friday, February 23.
