Following on from Spider-Man villains Venom and Morbius, Sony have released the trailer for upcoming film Kraven the Hunter. It stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson as the titular character Sergei Kravinoff aka Kraven, alongside Russell Crowe.
The trailer shows this will be an origin story, as we see the young Kravinoff hunting big game in the savannahs as a huge lion approaches. The trailer also shows us that Kraven will come face to face with another Spidey villain Rhino. This version of Rhino looks much more ominous compared to Paul Giamatti rather comedic version.
The film is directed by J.C. Chandor, know for Netflix’s Triple Frontier, Margin Call & crime drama A Most Violent Year.
The film will come with an R rating, which may indicate a darker story, staying true to the characters comic book portrayal, it will be released October 6.
