The first full trailer for Deadpool and Wolverine has arrived, and it’s an explosive first look at Hugh Jackman’s appearance as Wolverine since he previously announced his retirement. And he’s certainly back with a bang.
The first teaser back in February barely gave us a glimpse of Jackman’s X-Man, but this follow-up has firmly let Wolverine out of the cage (or his slippers), as we see him team up with the foul-mouthed Wade Wilson (Ryan Reynolds). But not before we witness the two tussle as Deadpool takes Wolverine’s claws to the groin.

As Reynolds’ Wade Wilson pleads, “I’m about to lose everything that I’ve ever cared about,” the two team up in what is reported to be a multiverse, mind-bending adventure. The trailer also reveals the film’s villain, played by Emma Corrin, who is rumored to be playing X-Men supervillain Cassandra Nova.
There have been numerous rumored cameos, but little has been confirmed except for Jennifer Garner’s return as Elektra in July, as reported by Variety. This marks her return almost two decades since her last appearance. Additionally, according to actor Karan Soni, who plays Dopinder, “A lot of people traveled to London,” so expect some surprises.

Deadpool & Wolverine is directed by Shawn Levy and alongside Reynolds, Jackman, Corrin and Soni the cast also inlcudes, Morena Baccarin, Rob Delaney, and Matthew Macfadyen.
In 2024, Deadpool & Wolverine will be the only MCU title gracing theaters. Following that, audiences can anticipate the release of Captain America: Brave New World in February 2025.
Deadpool & Wolverine arrives in theaters July 26 in the US and on July 25 in the UK.
