Netflix have dropped the first teaser trailer for upcoming David Fincher thriller The Killer. Based on a graphic novel series, it stars Michael Fassbender as an assassin.
Fassbender’s unamed assassin travels around the globe on missions to wipe out his targets but not only are his enemies chasing him down, the hitman is also dealing with another adversary…himself. All in quintessential Fincher fashion, it looks a mix of action & style along with a mind-bending look into the mind of a killer.

This is a passion project for director Fincher and has been in the works for 16 years. Fincher’s films often explore dark and psychological themes, blending suspense, drama, and occasional elements of horror and this look no different.
The official synopsis for The Killer reads, Solitary, cold, methodical and unencumbered by scruples or regrets, a killer waits in the shadows, watching for his next target. Yet, the longer he waits, the more he thinks he’s losing his mind, if not his cool.
