AMC have dropped the trailer for the third Walking Dead spin-off The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live. The new trailer sees Andrew Lincoln‘s Rick Grimes and Danai Gurira‘s Michonne battling hordes of zombies on the way to a reunion.
After being held captive for over a decade by the Civic Republic Military, a survival group, the trailer opens with Rick saying, “I’m getting home” and Michonne who’s on a mission to rescue him, says, “I have to find him”.
The Ones Who Live is the third of a thriving series of spin-off’s that include The Walking Dead: Dead City that follows following Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon which follows the fan-favorite played by Norman Reedus. Both spin-off’s have secured renewals for second seasons.
The trailer also gives us a good look at new franchise cast member Terry O’Quinn’s character, Major General Beale head of the Civic Republic Military and Jadis (Pollyanna McIntosh) makes a comeback.
Executive produced by showrunner Scott M. Gimple The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live will be on AMC and AMC+ premiering on February 25. There has been no release information for the UK as of yet.
