Big wins for Disney and Paramount as A24 breaks into the top five with a low-budget horror hit.

Disney’s Lilo & Stitch continues to rule the box office, hauling in another $63 million domestically this weekend. That brings its U.S. total to $280.1 million and pushes its worldwide gross to a massive $610 million. The live-action remake is now just behind A Minecraft Movie in the global 2025 rankings, with strong international traction across 51 territories contributing $330.7 million.

Paramount’s Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning held its ground in second place, earning $27.3 million over the weekend. That lifts its domestic total to $122.6 million, while global earnings have now reached $353.8 million. With a production budget approaching $400 million, this mission is far from over.

New entry Sony’s Karate Kid: Legends punched its way to third place with a $21 million domestic debut. The film, a continuation of the Cobra Kai universe, has generated $26 million internationally, bringing its global total to $47 million. With a production budget of $45 million and 40% of its international rollout still to come, the film has room to grow.

Warner Bros.’ Final Destination Bloodlines landed in fourth place, adding $10.8 million from North American theaters. That brings its domestic total to $111.7 million and its global haul to $229.3 million. For a franchise on its sixth entry, it’s proving there’s still blood in the tank.

A24’s supernatural horror Bring Her Back debuted in fifth with $7.08 million from 2,449 domestic screens. Produced on a $15 million budget, the film was financed by A24 before Sony acquired international rights. Globally, it’s now at $8.08 million. It’s a strong genre showing, and with buzz building, the film could find its footing beyond the opening weekend.

Sinners, continues its quiet rise past $350 million worldwide — including $83 million from international markets. It’s the only original film in the top 10 so far this year, and its box office run proves audiences are still willing to show up for new ideas.
