Apple TV+ has confirmed that The Morning Show will return for its fourth season on September 17. The Emmy-winning drama, which continues to dissect power and perception inside a volatile media empire, is back after a two-year gap—and it’s bringing serious star power with it.
New to the ensemble are Jeremy Irons, Marion Cotillard, Aaron Pierre, William Jackson Harper, and Boyd Holbrook. Early images released by the platform offer a glimpse into what viewers can expect, including a tense sit-down between Alex Levy (Jennifer Aniston) and her father, played by Irons, and a stylish appearance from Cotillard’s character, Celine Dumont.

Also featured in the preview stills are Reese Witherspoon’s Bradley Jackson and Mark Duplass as Chip Black, sharing a quiet moment over lunch. William Jackson Harper appears as the newly appointed Head of Sports, Ben, while Aaron Pierre plays Miles, a reflective and possibly unorthodox artist.
According to the official logline, “With the UBA-NBN merger complete, the newsroom must grapple with newfound responsibility, hidden motives and the elusive nature of truth in a polarized America. In a world rife with deepfakes, conspiracy theories and corporate cover-ups — who can you trust? And how can you know what’s actually real?”

Season 3 closed with Alex outmaneuvering Jon Hamm’s Paul Marks and steering UBA into a new era following the merger. The upcoming season appears to dig deeper into the shifting landscape of truth and trust in modern media—territory the show has never shied away from but now approaches with a bigger lens.
Jeremy Irons’ addition signals an exploration of Alex’s past, while Cotillard’s inclusion hints at a new wave of political and cultural influence within the UBA ranks. The stakes remain high, and in a world built on spin, the truth is proving to be a moving target.

Season 4 of The Morning Show debuts globally on Apple TV+ on Tuesday, 17 September.
