The second season of FROM wrapped up last June, and it’s worth questioning whether there’s a more underrated horror series currently airing. Despite receiving praise from both critics and audiences for its gripping storyline and Harold Perrineau’s standout performance, the show seems to remain relatively under the radar.
The anticipation has finally come to an end with the announcement of the official release date and the first trailer for Season 3 of FROM. The new season is set to premiere on MGM+ on September 22.
The series continues to follow Boyd Stevens, played by Harold Perrineau, as he leads a town shrouded in mystery where newcomers become trapped and are tormented by terrifying creatures that emerge from the surrounding woods. With its spine-chilling atmosphere, unexpected plot twists, and exceptional performances, FROM remains a standout gem in the horror genre.
(Spoilers) In the Season Two finale, a hint of hope emerged when Tabitha (Catalina Sandino Moreno) is seen waking up in a hospital, having been pushed out of the lighthouse and away from their supernatural confinement.
While precise plot details for Season 3 are still unknown, the tension is clearly escalating. The residents are expressing growing concerns about worsening conditions, dwindling food supplies, and increasing difficulty in keeping the demons at bay. However, Boyd reassures them with a message of hope: “We can still win. The only way we go home is together.”
FROM Season 3 is set to premiere in the US on MGM+ on September 22. It is anticipated to air in the UK on Sky TV, following the pattern of the previous two seasons. However, it’s important to note that Season 3 may not be available in the UK right away. Historically, the UK release for the show has lagged about three months behind the US debut. We will provide updates as soon as a confirmed date is announced.
