Showtime have released the trailer for what will be the final season of Billions as we see the return of hedge fund billionaire Bobby “Axe” Axelrod. The finance drama, begins August 11.
Damian Lewis left Billions after season five. Lewis will appear in six of the new season’s 12 episodes after his character went on the run from legal troubles.
Showtime’s official synopsis of the new series is as follows “Alliances are turned on there head, old wounds are weaponized, loyalties are tested, betrayal takes on epic proportions & enemies become wary friends.”
