This time the film is set in New York City so for the first time the story moves out of the fictional town of Woodsboro. The Scream saga continues with the four survivors of the Ghostface killings as they leave the town behind and start a fresh chapter.
Scream 6 will be available in the UK on digital streaming platforms tomorrow May 9.

Could Sidney Prescott Return In Scream 7
Prior to the release of Scream 6, Neve Campbell announced she would not reprise her role after she was disappointed with her contract offer, expressing the following.
“As a woman, I have had to work extremely hard in my career to establish my value, especially when it comes to Scream. I felt the offer that was presented to me did not equate to the value I have brought to the franchise.”

Amid speculation of her return producer William Sherak tells ComicBook.com about being affected by Neve Campbell’s absence and how Sidney Prescott can be in further scream movies.
“Yes, and I think a Scream movie can always have Sidney Prescott in it. When that information came to us, you don’t look at it the way you’re thinking. It’s much more, ‘This is the story we were telling.’ Sidney can fit into any Scream movie, she’s Sidney Prescott. And that just wasn’t in the cards we were able to play with. So we got to tell this amazing story and the guys crafted it brilliantly. But if Sidney Prescott’s in a Scream movie, Sidney Prescott fits that Scream movie. We have that luxury. We have the luxury of a character you can always make work in this franchise.”
UK Viewers have Digital access to Scream 6 tomorrow May 9.
