Brad Pitt and George Clooney, former collaborators on Ocean’s 11, reunite in the action-thriller/dark-comedy Wolfs. Unlike their previous venture robbing a Las Vegas casino, they are reluctantly paired as two “lone wolves,” forced to collaborate to conceal a high-profile crime, setting the stage for unforeseen chaos.
The film was scripted and helmed by Jon Watts, known for directing three Spider-Man films. It’s a collaboration between Apple Original Films and Sony Pictures, slated for a theatrical release before potentially landing on the streaming platform Apple TV+, following the pattern of previous Apple Originals.

The trailer opens with Amy Ryan’s character in a panic, urgently needing someone to handle a body. She calls Clooney to ‘fix’ things, and when he arrives, she declares, “I didn’t know people like you really existed.” Clooney replies, “They don’t… there’s nobody that can do what I do.” Before a knock on the door reveals Pitt’s fixer arriving to utter confusion.
The official synopsis reads: “A professional fixer is hired to cover up a high-profile crime. But when a second fixer shows up and the two ‘lone wolves’ are forced to work together, they find their night spiraling out of control in ways that neither one of them expected.”

Speaking to Total Film Clooney described how he is excited for the film saying, “It’s out there. We just did a screening of it, and the place kind of went batshit for it. So, we’re excited about it. We think it’s a really fun, dark – very dark – nutty film, it feels like an R-rated Ocean’s film.”
Wolfs will land in theaters September 20.
