Apple TV+ have unveiled a series of first look images via Deadline and their social channels, for their follow up to 2021’s Invasion. The series focuses on groups of characters from different parts of the world, as they experience a devastating alien invasion of our planet.
The first look images show that the world has quickly succumb to the superior race, Earth is becoming a wasteland, as the invaders turn to all out war.

In an official statement, series co-creator Simon Kinberg shared his excitement for the new series teasing a much larger scale of destruction saying.
“I couldn’t be more excited about the return of Invasion on Apple TV+. It’s a bigger, more intense season that drops our viewers into a wide-scale, global battle from the start. At its core, the show is about the power of the human spirit and the emotional connections that hold us together especially when facing incredible obstacles.”

The cast of Invasion features Golshifteh Farahani, Shioli Kutsuna & Shamier Anderson. Apple TV+ premieres Season 2 on August 23 with one episode, and a further nine episodes will come weekly.
The shows official synopsis reads….“Invasion is a sweeping, character driven science fiction drama series that follows an alien invasion through different perspectives around the world. The action-packed second season of ‘Invasion’ picks up just months later with the aliens escalating their attacks in an all-out war against the humans.“
