Among the many Marvel iconic characters, Loki, the God of Mischief, has stood out as a fan favorite. Played brilliantly by Tom Hiddleston, Loki’s charismatic portrayal has earned him a dedicated following, so much so the show has become Marvel’s most watched MCU series.
Loki Season one offered a mind-bending exploration of time travel, branching timelines, and the concept of the multiverse within the MCU. As Loki and Sylvie navigated through different eras and dimensions.
Hiddleston reprises the titular role as the god of mischief, alongside returning actor Owen Wilson and new cast member Ke Huy Quan. Season two offers much of the same as the trailer starts off with Loki suffering as he slips in and out of different timelines. Set after the events of Avengers: Endgame, the series will continue to follow the antihero as he works with the TVA to track down superhero variants causing chaos among the different timelines of the multiverse.
In an interview with Total Film Hiddleston said, “At the end of season one, the story isn’t over. I think that’s really clear, Loki’s almost more unstable and as turbulent and passionate and chaotic as he’s ever been. And maybe some of that needs resolution. There’s stuff to unpack.”
