Russell Crowe will wear a priest’s collar once again, but this time, he won’t be portraying the rock star exorcist Father Gabriele Amorth from The Pope’s Exorcist. Instead, he’ll take on the role of an actor in a film plagued by death. Crowe’s character, Anthony Miller, is a troubled actor who begins to unravel while shooting a supernatural horror film.
The trailer unveils the grim truth that the original actor of the film commits suicide, as we’re ominously told that “Everything’s cursed.” As Crowe’s character, Anthony, starts to lose his mind, his daughter Lee Miller (Ryan Simpkins) interprets Anthony’s vulnerability as signs of a relapse into his old addictions.
