The Full Monty was released in 1997 and became a classic. The film follows the lives of a group of unemployed men. After the mills shut down in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, the men down on their luck, group together to perform a striptease in the local town to earn money.
The reboot catches up with them after 25 years and they all have their own struggles in older age. Gaz (Robert Carlyle) is still struggling for work and has a strained relationship with his daughter.
Initially the original film bombed at the box office in its first week taking only $100,000. But after word of mouth and awareness grew the film ended up taking a huge $250 million, against its $3.5 million budget.
The Full Monty is available to stream from tomorrow June 14 on Hulu in the US and Disney+ in the UK.
