Peacock have released a new explicit trailer for their new original Twisted Metal. The show is based on the late 90’s vehicular combat video game. The new trailer for the first time shows the comedy & automobile action side of the franchise that gamers will remember.
The series stars Anthony Mackie as “a motor-mouthed outsider who is offered a chance at a better life, but only if he can successfully deliver a mysterious package across a post-apocalyptic wasteland.”
Neve Campbell has been cast as Raven, Will Arnett will voice Sweet Tooth and AEW superstar Samoa Joe will physically embody the character.

John (Anthony Mackie) is a delivery driver hired by Raven (Neve Campbell) to pick up and deliver a package to New San Francisco. Whilst on his travels, he takes on a passenger Quiet (Stephanie Beatriz) not by choice as she holds him up at gunpoint. They encounter psychopaths along the way in the post apocalyptic world, including murderous clown Sweet Tooth.
The series will premiere in the US July 27, there is currently no official UK release date. You can watch the explicit trailer below.
