Netflix have dropped a trailer for its upcoming comedy Old Dads, seeing Bill Burr make his directional debut. The trailer shows him applying his usual comic styles, as he and his friends struggle to adapt to todays changing society, with their old fashioned parenting style.
Old Dads as the title suggests follows a trio of friends that become fathers later in life, it sees them butting heads with school teachers & woke parents with Burr even confronting a man who pokes his nose where it isn’t wanted saying “I’m trying to raise a little man, not a pussy.”

In the beginning of the trailer we hear Burr’s voiceover, as he states “I always wanted to be a dad, it just took 46 years to happen.” His two friends are played by Bobby Cannavale and Bokeem Woodbine as the three try their best as they face generational differences.
The trio are faced with being dictated to with phrases such gender-neutral & carbon-neutral, with baffled faces declare “I don’t know what any of that means” as it dawns on them, they’re not cool anymore.

Old Dads is co-written, directed, and produced by Bill Burr, with documentary filmmaker Ben Tischler as co-writer and producer.
Old Dads will be on Netflix October 20.
