Father and daughter duo Ewan McGregor & Clara McGregor unite on screen in emotional drama Bleeding Love formerly titled ‘You Sing Loud, I Sing Louder’ the film premiered at the 2023 South by Southwest Film Festival in Austin, Texas.
The film sees an estranged father & daughter during a road trip as they head to Santa Fe, during the trailer the father confronts his daughter after he catches her drinking with a young man, saying, “12 hours ago you OD’d!”

It becomes apparent the daughter is an addict and the film follows their troubles as they drive across the country. As he tries to keep her off a path of destruction, she confronts him about his past lies and neglect, as he desperately tries to repair the damage and reconnect.
Bleeding Love portrays the highs and lows of their strained relationship as they meet a bunch of colorful characters while on the road. The supporting cast includes Devyn McDowell, Kim Zimmer, Sasha Alexander, Jake Weary, and Vera Bulder.

In an interview with People Clara McGregor discusses working with her father, “There was something special about [Ewan] being a part of a film that I was also producing and had put together.”
“It’s rare as an adult that you get to spend that amount of time with your parents, so that was really special, I’d always admired my dad as an actor and getting to act with him showed me how good he is at what he does.”
Bleeding Love is due for release in limited theaters and on digital February 16.
